My 5 year old son being ill treated

My son was admitted to Rahima Moosa on Tuesday 27th November 2018 at 19h30 with a referral from Helen Joseph to do an immediate operation for that evening. My son has still not been seen to and it is 2 days later, yesterday he was even crying of thirst and hunger as every time we are informed that he needs not eat for 4 – 6 hours before he goes into theater.

My son is only 5 years old and we are not getting any assistance nor proper feedback all we are informed is that the surgeon advised it will be done soon.

My Wife has been sleeping there for the past 2 nights on a bench and honestly I feel that we are not been treated fairly as we got have got a date to return yet my son is starving, even crying for food and water and my wife not been informed the correct information. He is currently in ward 2 on the 1st floor.

I am aware that this is a Government facility and we appreciate the assistance however do we need to be ill-treated and mis informed the way we are been currently.

I have been trying to call the Hospital since 6h30 this morning to try and speak to anybody to assist and the phone just rings and goes dead, are these the correct numbers been advised on the website ********** 000 / 9181 / 9105?
