Disgusting. No service at all. Turned me away!!!

Evening facebook friends. My daughter went to remove her tonsils on Wednesday at this hospital. She has been complaining of pain and not really eating which is normal considering the operation that has taken place. But this evening she started vomiting blood with clots in (sorry for the graphic image) so we rushed her to the hospital where she was operated. We went straight to the emergency section where a doctor named *Ogle Redionas* came to assit us. But instead of getting the assistance we needed to stabilise my daughter. The doctor looked at my daughter vomiting and said " what am I supposed to do? I am a emergency doctor. Bring her Wednesday morning to see an ENT specialist." We asked can she not give medication to assist and she refused saying they do not give meds. My daughter has lost almost 5l of blood and they refused to help us.

Now we have rushed through to Medi clinic Sandton where my medical insurance can assist by stabilizing her but that's all. After this, if she needs to be admitted I must go back to the same hospital that refused treatment!!! Is this really a way to treat a patient in need???

I am totally disgusted at the treatment we have received and I truly hope that someone in charge of this hospital can start taking action. Do we really need to go through such extremes just to receive the basic health care we have the right to?
