Refund

On 13 March 2024, I had a payment of R600 for a couple therapy session with Rageroom SA Brayston Johannesburg North. Unfortunately my partner passed away before we could confirm the day that we would like to come through.

On 28 March 2024, I emailed requesting if it’s possible to get a refund, Marco Coromba rep**** that it’s possible to get a refund however there’s a R25 charge for pay fast and I must send through my banking details. I rep**** with my bank details.

On 3 April 2024, I sent through an email querying about the refund, and no response was received from him.

On 10 April 2024, I called Marco with regards to the refund, he informed me that the refund was processed and I told him that the payment hasn’t reflected in my account to which he rep**** that he will get into contact with the accounts department and revert back to me. However no response was received from Marco.

On 11 April 2024 I sent an email again, regarding my refund, yet again no response from Marco. I then contacted him via a phone call, and he said he hasn’t received feedback from the accounts department however he hasn’t forgotten about my refund.

On 17 April 2024, I contacted Marco telephonically, and he said the refund was made last Friday already (12 April 2024). I informed him that the payment hasn’t reflected in my bank account yet. I then requested that they send me a POP for the payment. He said he will get the accounts department to send the POP. I informed Marco that I will be calling back in 10 minutes time if no POP has been received from the accounts department and he said NO do not call me in 10 minutes!!!

The day (17 April 2024) passed by, and no POP was received, no money reflected in my account. I emailed him, stating that as discussed on the phone, I haven’t received the requested POP from them and yet again no response was received and no funds reflected in my bank account!!

I am really disappointed by the lack of email communication and how it would take up to 3 weeks for a refund to be processed. The least they could do is stipulate what their turnaround time is for making out refunds!!!
