Unhappy customer

I've bought a sandal on the 15th of jan 2025 and been wearing it for two days honestly love it but funny enough 'somehow' I don't know it feels as if there is water in side the sandal so I stop wearing it. I took it back on the 22nd and the shop assistants in Mitchell's plain promenade was so unhelpful and the she called the customer service and spoke and Xhosa which I didn't understand what she said over phone too them but apparently she wasn't satisfied too help me because there is nothing wrong with the shoes but I was told that they can't resell it like that but it's fine for me to walk with it like that! On they slip it says 7 days refundable and within 30 day exchange but the lady at the customer service and her team leader said to me I had to bring the shoe back the way it looked the day I bought it! Now my thing is this. How will that be even possible if I had to wear it? Rage are dishonest and ****s I will never ever buy shoes by them I will continue to stick to shoe city
