Unfair negative listing

A *****ulent account was opened with & i notified Rage. Rage then requested me to send proof of my signature to match it with what they have on their records together with an affidavit. Done that & confirmed that I have never had or opened an account with Rage. To my surprise, I still have a negative listing by Rage. They still appear on my credit report & this is affecting me badly as I cannot apply for any credit.
