Rage sending me from pillar to post!!

So I have on multiple times asked rage to close my account as I have settled it in full, yet up until today I'm still going back and forth with them over this. I'm in process of making a huge purchase and the only thing messing with my credit score is my so called rage account. How *********** can one company be though? How difficult is it for them to just close the account? I'm so unhappy and regret ever opening an account with Rage. Wouldn't advise anyone to do business with them.... It's a trap.
