Rage refusing to take their faulty shoe

So i bought shoes few days ago.Got home and realized that the other shoe is faulty and now I can’t get exchange as I don’t have a slip. And I don’t get why I can’t get an exchange as it’s not my fault that they shoe is faulty. Now I’m stuck with shoes that I can’t wear as it’s faluty!!
