Rage-if quality had a name it wouldn't be yours

I went into you Sandton branch last Thursday, and bought a pair of boots that seemed to be good quality. I was mistaken.

On Saturday(My second day of wearing the boots) I notice that spots of the sole had turned to white and that there were bad scuff marks on the shoes too. This couldn't have occured after just wearing these shoes twice.

I went into your Balfour Park branch to exchange the shoes, only to be told that it was going to be a process with photos being taken and sent to head office for autorization to exchange the shoes. This application to have the shoes exchanged was denied.

Today I contacted the manager of customer services, who did a "thurough" investigation, and found that the shoes were "good quality." How can this be if they scuffed and discoloured after just two days of wear? She also refused to replace the boots.

I then thought back to all the times that I have purchased goods from Rage, in all honesty not one item has lasted. I bought three pairs of sandels in 2009. They didn't last very long. I thin bought another pair in 2015, and was refunded after they broke very quickly. The most recent purchase, before the boots, was a top that I purchased last year. It unravelled at the seams very fast.

I mentioned this to the manager and she told me that she is just focusing on the boots now. Which confirms that there have been quality issues before. Another warning bell is their return policy where pictures have to be sent to headoffice for authorisation to exchange the goods.

I Insist that you exchange the shoes. As far as I am concerned, you are *****ing from your customers, and I will not accept this.
