Rage Giyani lives up to it's name. You will leave filled with Rage

My wife sent me to buy her shoes... According to her the shoes she wanted cost R139. I picked up the shoes and paid using my debit card. After confirming I realized the amount was different to what my wife had said. So I video called her an showed her the shoes. She confirmed it was the right shoes but might have been wrong with the price. I didn't budget for R249 so I asked the cashier Hlamalani Maluleke to assist me with the reversal. She explained that it was against store policies to refund goods on sale. I asked to speak to the manager. My understanding is that there is nothing she can do since its against store policy. The manager came and confirmed the same and told me that the only way I would be refunded is if or when someone bought the shoes however long it takes. What really upset me is that the cashier started insulting me as if I was trying to get her in trouble for asking to speak to her manager. And demand I show her where I saw the R139 price tag even when from the start I had stated that my wife had made a mistake and that I couldn't afford the extra R100. The manager simply just walked away and ignored me as I asked her for the cashier name and how she would let her insult me in her presence after I had escalated my complaint. I took the recipient and left the box on the counter. No one bothered to take my details on where to contact me if or whenever the items were sold. What was supposed to do I couldn't leave with the shoes as the store needs to sell them for me. What kind of policy is this.... ?
