Poor Quality Product

I bought a pair of Sandals on the 9th of Feb 25 and on the 3rd wear the buckle came completely off, I went into rage this past Sunday and after being seen to after 20 whole minutes whilst the cashier worked with 1 customer and the other just lolled around, I was then seen to, also almost over 20 minutes, was then told that I cannot get a refund, on the shoe because I should have brought it back within 7 days. It didn't break within that time, I them took the shoe back and called head office yesterday 17/03 and a promising Mathsidiso informed that she would resolve this and call me back shortly,a whole day has gone, I did myself a favour and got some very valuable information Under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), consumers have the right to return goods within six months of delivery if they are defective, unsafe, or of poor quality, with the supplier responsible for repair, replacement, or refund.
