Poor customer service and bad product quality

So I bought boots last month, the heels are off, you can't literally see my socks and I went there this morning with my bank statement as I do t have the receipt any more. They told me they can't help me they want the receipt as proof of payment but yet my bank statement does state that I bought from rage. How do they expect me to go to work with the boots?? To even show that they know they sell **** quality they say they need the receipt, I asked them if they can't do reprints of their receipt they tell me that they are not allowed to do that unless if I have the receipt, how stupid is that??? Why would I need a reprint when I have my own?? I work retail as well and I know for a fact that with a bank statement that shows the transaction I can't assist the customer.
