Pathetic customer service!

To whom it may concern

I would like to bring forward a complaint against the services of Rage at Springs Mall as well as Rage Head Office.

A friend and I recently bought a pair of shoes at Rage Springs Mall. When checking our purchase when we got home we noticed scratches on the shoes after wearing it for the first time. I attempted to return the shoes and unfortunately the branch in Springs had no lights so they were unable to process the return and I was told to come back in a few days. They did however assure me that the shoes can be returned.

When I recently went back to return the shoes. I was treated with alot of hostility and having sales people at the branch discuss me in their vernacular language. Although I may be an Indian I was fully aware of what they were saying. I was very offended by the treatment received. Nevertheless they attempted to call Head office prior to this I was told that the shoe would be changed or refunded and then a lady spoke to me in a very terrible tone making it seem that I as the customer was in the wrong. I did however tell her that the sales lady was suppose to also check the footware before I paid and bring any faults to my attention. She was not prepared to hear me out and the staff at Rage were of no assistance to me.

As a consumer I am appalled at such behavior. I now have a shoe that I am unable to use due to scratches and factory fault.
