Order delays with no communication

My 1st time purchasing from this place. I ordered shoes on the 30th November. Thursday past I was told it will be despatched that day latest Friday past. Called again today and said it will definitely be despatched today. I still see no tracking updated. I understand the delays during this time of the year but the lies is making me question what is really going on. The bad reviews are scary. Wish I checked before, really do hope I get my money back.
