I had bought shoes for my daughter on Friday 26 October 2018 but the size was too small. I needed to exchange for an event we're attending. I finally found a pair that was suitable at the Rage store on Kerk street in Johannesburg CBD on Wednesday 31st October 2018. The price for the shoes I had bought was R125, the new shoes were R119. The staff at the store absolutely refused to help me with the exchange because the suitable pair I found cost less and they do not do a refund.In fact they recommended I find something of the same price, none of the shoes were in her size or colour for R125. So Rage cannot even accommodate customers by refunding R6? It's not like I can purchase anything else at your store for R6 and I had no desire to purchase anything else at that store.The attitude I received was absolutely disgusting, why is that branch even operational with such *********** staff that has zero understanding on customer service? The store is small with very limited stock and the staff should communicate upfront that with exchange please get the shoes for the same amount provided that there is a variety of options. And if the store does not give refunds, put the damn notice in bold at the door and by the till so everyone is aware of this nonsense rule when they purchase at the store. I am 7 months pregnant to be given such a run around! I had to walk to other Rage stores in the CBD to finally be assisted. Be creative with these things if you refuse to give people their money back, with the difference give a voucher or something for the next purchase. People do not deserve to be treated with such disrespect, teach / train your staff by Kerk street to learn customer service and appreciate being employed in such tough economic times
