I regret opening a Rage account

I regret opening an account with these people,I closed my account 3 months ago but the account is still appearing on my credit report till today and its showing that am owing them, called the head office and they gave me a long explanation of data not being sent blah blah. They told me that I have to wait 2 more months after all these 3 months, They are amateurs
