Failure to update ITC records

On the 27th August 2014 I received a letter from Patience Ntshingila confirming that my account has been paid up and closed. Today upon checking my status with TransUnion, I have learned that this information has never been updated- the record still reflects as owing Rage. I would like to know the reason behind the information not being updated as this dates back to 13 months. I am extremely dissatisfied with the poor service from Rage store.
