Defective shoes and no help from shop

<p>On Friday I bought shoes from Rage Edenvale. I wore them for 3 hours at a wedding and by the time we were getting ready for photos I started hearing a metal sound and then I looked to see the heel had totally come off on both shoes. I was left with the metal of the heel sticking out so I had to take them off.</p> <p> </p> <p>Today I went back to the store to return them. Do starters customer serving was the worst. The girl who served me could not be bothered. She phoned customer care and they told her to take it to the shoe maker. Normally I wouldn't mind as I know they are good and the shoe will be fixed. But the girl told me she's busy and will not take the shoe today, tomorrow or Thursday. She will only take it on Friday and I just have to wait. </p> <p> </p> <p>I told her in that case I want my money back. Then she phoned customer care again and this time they said because she shoe had a scratch they can't give me my money back. I then spoke to the customer care agent and told her the shoe has a scratch at the back by the heel because I almost feel after the heel came off. So in fact your company sold me a defective product that I could have easily hurt myself wearing and I could have had a bigger claim and you can't give me my money back!</p> <p> </p> <p>I am an attorney and I am well aware of the consumer protection act</p> <p> I left the broken shoes at your store now I want my money back!</p>
