I am writing this with a heavy heart 😔. On the 15th of August Rage had a promotion of 30% off everything from 11am-4pm and I went and bought these 3 pairs of shoes for my son at Rage in Koster in cash and not on account. When I got home these size 4 shoes didn't fit him, so on the 17th I went back to the store to request an exchange. I was informed by the sales person there that Rage doesn't have size 5 for male persons. Their boys shoes ends with size 4 and their men's shoes start with size 6. I then requested for a refund. The lady called their head office and to my surprise the lady at their head office didn't evn know that nationwide their store doesn't have size 5 for men. She didn't want to assist and kept on dropping the line and eventually they blocked the service from the shop and we couldn't reach them anymore. The salesperson was frustrated and told me to come back again tomorrow. The 18th I went back again and a lady by the name Felilwe answered and she didn't want to talk to me either and told me that they do not refund sale items. What I find disturbing is the fact that:- 1. Their in-store returns policy is very silent on the "no refund on sale items" and only speaks of exchange. 2. You only get to see the "no refund on sale items" on your receipt as a customer once you have paid already. 3. I asked to exchange but the store it's self is not in a position to exchange as they do not have size 5 anywhere so now they are refusing with the refund but it is not my fault that they do not sell size 5s. Now I am stuck with 3 pairs of shoes while my son doesn't have shoes to wear. I hav always heard of stories about Rage but I never thought I will be a victim one day. Never again will I buy anything from this shop. So beware, if you but any sale or promotional item there you will never get your money even if there is nothing you can exchange with.
