******** Company

I am writing regarding my *** account and the outstanding balance currently reflected on the account.

When I opened the account, I received approximately R500 in spending credit. Due to difficulties in making payments on time, the outstanding balance increased to approximately R6,400 largely due to interest and additional charges.

I recently contacted *** because I have managed to raise funds and would like to settle the account. During my call with your consultant, I was advised that the minimum amount you could accept was approximately R4,400. I explained that I can currently afford to pay R3800 towards the account.

I find the situation extremely concerning because I am willing to make a substantial payment towards an amount that I initially only received approximately R500 in credit for. The significant increase in the balance appears to be largely due to interest and charges, and I am requesting that *** please review the account and consider accepting the R3800 payment as a settlement or payment arrangement.

I am making a genuine effort to resolve this matter and am not refusing to pay the account. However, I cannot afford the amount of R4,400 that I was advised is required. It is frustrating that I have raised R3800 specifically to settle the matter, but I am being advised that *** cannot accept this amount.

I therefore kindly request that the account be reviewed and that I be provided with a reasonable solution that will allow me to settle the account based on the funds I currently have available.

Please provide me with a written response and confirmation of what options are available to resolve this matter.
