Child Abuse Inside Store

On 15 November 2019, Friday, I was told by a friend about the Rage shoe sale. I dashed to Rage store which is a walking distance from I was in Eastlynne Pretoria East. I entered the store holding my son's hand and sat him in the one of the shoe fitting chairs. My son was playing a game on the phone. I was trying on, and searching for shoes to buy before closing time 6:00PM. I was disturbed by a loud noise a brief shouting one of the lady's working in n the store saying my son dropped plastic hangers for clothing on the floor, not explaining how or when as she was emotional. The disturbance led to my son diverting his attention to running to the front or the store to also try on shoes from the displays. To my surprise, as I was asking my son to take back the ladies' big shoes, two or more female young ladies starting rudely and passing out remarks like they have never seen a child who is naughty like my child, and how one of them mentioned that she does not want children anymore not does she want any at all. I was so shocked I never recovered since, as I tried to compose myself and explain how different all kids are and that my son is 5 and I need to teach him and remind him about good behaviour every day, as he forgets as a child. One of the females mentioned how kids must be disciplined with an iron fist regardless of what the law says not the age of the child. Suddenly, screaming and shouting which was directed to my son made all of us at the back of the room to look. My son was running from the front towards me. He was stopped by a female employee who uttered words saying she will kick us out of the store now as she was sick and tired of my son running around in the store irritating her and causing her to work when it is close to home time. This same lady grabbed my son's are and twisted then gave him a firm grib which made my son scream and start crying yelling for his mom to come and help him. My son was terrified and confused of the violent act. I told the lady to let go of my son's hand as she was hurting him. I told the lady holding my son how she was violating the law by intimidating my son and causing physical abuse. My son came racing to me. I checked my son's arm which he told me was sore. I had to take him to the doctor to make sure all was in order. My shopping day was ruined and I ended up taking the same foot side of shoes. I left the store heartbroken treated with disrespect and just devasted.
