Bought a shoe then it broke in less than 2 weeks

I bought a pair of sandals on the 31st of August at Rage in kuils river,I only wiore the shoe three times and on that third time while i was walking in the mall the shooe suddenly broke off yet its new i had to walk bare feet.I later went to the store to complain and told the person who was there Mabaseya that i do not have the slip however on that saterday i bought the shoe cash, she was on duty with another sop assistant whom was off the day i went to complain.What bothered me was the fact that no effort was made even though i gave them the date and time of purchase just to check for a reprint as they would know since it was the last pair available.I left with that broken shoe .Im so disappointed with the shoe and the service as a customer i expected more than the service i recieved.How can you sell a customer a shoe then in lkess than 2 weeks the shoe breaks.
