Blacklisted

I had an account at Rage which i couldn't pay at the moment but i used to pay it as time went .this year in may i closed the account but before i closed the account the lady who helped me said nothing to me .i try to open accounts i get declined i keep on trying nothing ,then a lady at nedbanks asked me am i blacklisted i answered no then she told me to call credit bereu i do so i get at work i call them then boom she tells me Rage blacklisted me im like how because i closed the account she tells me yes they blacklisted you. I tell her they were the ones who forced me to open the account when i told them im a student i dont work then they blacklisted me for owing them R304 which i paid off they never called me or sent me a message to tell me i have been blacklisted i had to call credit bereu to find out and now i have to pay R3900 to clear my name please i need help i have never had an account Rage ruined my name without telling me anything.
