Black Friday Sale - Columbine Store Johannesburg

<p>9 pairs of shoes were purchased on 27 November 2016 at supposedly 50% markdown.</p> <p>One pair was exchanged two days later. We were also given a credit voucher as we were charged the normal price and not the discounted price. Our till slip was retained by the store.</p> <p>A week later we returned a pair that was purchased as a gift. We were refused a refund as well as a voucher. The Sales Assistant insisted we choose another pair of shoes.</p> <p>We insisted on a call to Head Office and we were subsequently given a voucher. A refund was refused by Head Office.</p> <p>It would have been more appropriate for Rage to inform the public about two things when a customer walks into their shop with an intention to purchase:</p> <p>1. That there would be no refund on markdowns/sale items.</p> <p>2, Rage Policy on all merchandise must be displayed most visibly to every customer. They do have a display in fine print on the counter. This certainly did not catch our eyes when we purchased shoes to the value of R910 on 27 November 2016.</p> <p> </p>
