I am so furious because according to customer relations act, consumers generally should not be charged more than the price displayed for goods or services. This principle is enshrined in Section 23(6) of the CPA, which states that a supplier cannot require a consumer to pay a higher price than the displayed price. The box displayed R265 sale plus the 30% off that which should be R185.5 and they now insisting that I buy from the normal price discounted only the 30% and all the boxes of the specific shoe is marked R265 they didn’t even have the decency to acknowledge that they are the one at fault.
