I had to come here and write this review coz I’m really ****ed off. I opened a rage account while I was a student, in 2021 I paid off the account and never took anything again I even forgot I still have an account there. This year I’m working and I tried opening up accounts at other stores and they kept declining with reason being “credit bureau”. One shop was able to confirm with me that it is because of I owe rage. I went there to ask how am I owing if I paid and didn’t take anything, I was told a story like “maybe the person you were paying to didn’t round off the amount, then it’s possible you owed a few rands that accumulated to this R50” 😡. I paid it up and requested a letter which I got. I called Transunion and they confirmed I no longer owe (this was on 8th of April) but rage still listed me as a bad payer so even now I can’t open accounts for the very same reason. I do not recommend opening an account with Rage at all.
