Bad Frustrating Client Service

I had an account at Rage which I was in love with till recently. I then decided to close my account on the 29June2022 after receiving bad service over and over from the Sasolburg store personnel. Spoke to Maculate from HeadOffice who instructed me to submit my Bank statement and ID to the nearest store in order to get a refund. I did that, went to the branch assisted by a Consultant who was told by the Store Manager(Busisiwe) that their branch scanners are not working since May 2022. I wonder if they scanners were reported or she does not care about client service. The Consultant then started to march to the next branch with my documents without asking for my permission as a client. Arriving on the nearer store my documents were scanned, then the Consultant called their HeadOffice before returning my documents and releasing me. I was then told that the refund will take 7-14 days. On the 14th I call HeadOffice to find out about my refund, to my surprise Maculate know nothing about me, she then say she did not receive my documents from the store. Maculate phoned me several times when she didn't want to refund me, saying I can only get a voucher.Even in this day (29/06/2022) she phoned my cellphone and instructed me to go to the nearest branch, whereas when she didn't receive the required documents to close my account, she could not phone me back to enquire. I requested to speak to the Supervisor, Wendy. Who told me that Maculate is not suppose to call clients,whereas I received several calls from Rage H/O recently about my account. She then told me that she will find out from the branch were are my documents! Are Rage staff trained to serve clients? especially when it comes to returning goods. Do Rage Management go for Hear, Empathise, Answer, Take action training? How secure/safe is my information at Rage ( POPI Act?) Due to staff incompetence 14days down the line, the is no feedback on my refund, just excuses.

I don't recommend Rage to anyone
