Poor service Radisson Gautrain Hotel Sandton

After staying in this hotel numerous times in the past for business and having conferences in their conference center and always receiving excellent service, imagine my disappointment this time at the shocking level of service we experienced. First on Friday after driving up from Durban and checking in we wanted to have dinner in the restaurant. We were seated and then ignored for more than 25 minutes after which we left to find dinner elsewhere. As it was pouring with rain we had to drive to find dinner and had to pay R20.00 for the parking. Then on Sunday after leaving after breakfast at around 09h30 and spending a full day unpacking boxes and furniture into our new house, imagine our horror on our return at around 18h00 to find our room hadn’t even been made up. After this experience I would find it extremely difficult to recommend this hotel to friends or colleagues and will personally not be using it again for either business or leisure.
