No effort in assisting to find lost item

My husband took our family out to the Radisson Blu hotel for Christmas lunch. Lunch was supposed to be served at 12 but we were made to wait for 45 minutes. Whilst we were waiting I went to use the ladies' restrooms. I had my clutchbag and a pouch holding my very valuable sunglasses. I realised about 10 minutes after getting back to my seat that I only had my clutch bag and not my glasses. I quickly rushed back to the ladies to look for my glasses exactly where I knew I had placed them when I was washing my hands. They had disappeared. I asked the lady who was cleaning and she claimed to not have seen them. My husband and I then advised management of this incident and asked them to help us find them. We proposed 2 things:1. Ask other guests if they had seen them 2. Check the surveillance camera's to see who might have taken them. Mr Wayne Florence just about blocked everything we suggested saying he can't help. He claimed that asking the other guests would upset them and yet we were not asking him to accuse them of theft but rather assistance should anyone spot them. Nothing came out of the surveillance discussion either. He instead made us feel like a nuisance for asking
