5 Star service!
I know little about cars and so was somewhat nervous about taking my pre-owned Cayenne to Carel and team for its first major service since purchasing it. I felt secure from the start - Carel took time to talk me through the few issues he found - kept me updated the while time - and the bonus was a reasonably-priced service! My car has been driving fabulously ever since and I would absolutely reccomend this business to anyone wanting a value-added service that won't break the bank!

5 Star service!
I know little about cars and so was somewhat nervous about taking my pre-owned Cayenne to Carel and team for its first major service since purchasing it. Quality work with excellent customer communications.
My Golf R showed an engine warning light. It had become a bit worse for wear, so after a bit of research I decided on what looked like the best but probably the most expensive service center. I had nothing to compare the cost with but the R70k I forked out for a thorough refurbishment was well worth it. The car came back like new and has been driving beautifully. Carel, the owner, seemed to take a personal interest in the job. He communicated regularly and honestly so that when additional work was needed along the way I in no way felt I might be being led by the nose to a *******. I'm always interested in finding a good deal but there are times when the best value is the more expensive. Whether this was the case I can't say, but I think I made the right choice. Well done Carel and Racing Technik.

Incredible Results
First of all, I am pedantic about my cars. I had been away for a couple years and our family VW Sirocco had been serviced by the usual VW suspects in Cape Town. What I found when I got back was shortcuts had been taken and clear signs of impending issues had been ignored (sweating timing chain cover, PCV unit with traces of oil, and more). The car was also not idling to my liking, and then the dreaded Mk6 waterpump broke at its connection to the block. So at 160,000km I took our precious VW Sirocco to Racing Technik. First of all, I don't think I have ever had anyone inspect a vehicle so thoroughly, wow! Shout out to Franklin!!! (the floor mech) he really knows his stuff, and it was such a pleasure to have someone preemptively consider something before I had to mention it. They found bent end link stabilizers, moldy brake line fluid, and a number of things that really should have been picked up a long time ago by VW mechanics over the past two years. Well, we decided to give the Sirocco a well deserved makeover: Carbon Clean, New Injectors (I wanted new injects given the mileage), new waterpump, new PCV, new gaskets top and bottom for timing chain, new trans fluid... and a bunch of other items here and there. The results were nothing short of transformative, seriously, its as if the car is brand new, power restored, smooth idle, and an absolute pleasure to drive!!! Thank you Carl & Franklin!

Quality and professional service on my VW Beetle
I took my VW Beetle to Racing Technik and couldn't be happier with the experience. Carel, the owner, was incredibly helpful from the start — he took the time to properly diagnose the problem and explain what actually needed fixing instead of just quoting me for everything under the sun. Thanks to his honesty I ended up saving a significant amount on the repair, and the car has been running beautifully since. It's rare to find a workshop this professional and treats customers fairly. Highly recommended if you need someone you can actually trust with your car.
