COMPLAINT

I booked a weekend away through Afristay for Raaswater in August and went the weekend of 30 November to 2 December 2018. I had the worst time of my life and so did my parents and my daughter. 4 people should have a 2 bedroom not all beds in 1 small room including a lounge and dining room in one, with the built in braai in the same room. The kitchen had no braai dishes, a tiny 2 plate. The room had a sliding door which was blocked off, meaning it was converted into another room for rental. The sliding doors had egg trays on to block sound but I could hear the man snoring all night. Then the Saturday I got sick because the room we were in got way too hot for me, I went to stand outside but that didnt help, thereafter I was sick for the rest of my stay. The heat was unbearable in the room the Saturday. We waited almost 3 months for this trip as we love Club Mykonos. Raaswater is in Mykonos but not at all like Mykonos. No replenishing of toilet rolls, no cleaning. Had we known it's in Mykonos but not like Mykonos I would never of wasted my families time, petrol and money. I paid alot of money and didnt expect to stay in something like that. I was almost in tears. I never enjoyed myself 1 bit. People came in banging the doors pass 12 the Saturday night making a commotion, a lady fell from the stairs and dropped a bottle of wine. They were so loud. Then they came to clean the mess, glad the lady was okay tho. We stayed at Mykonos 5 - 6 times so we not use to this kind of accommodation. We were all highly disappointed and stuck in a room. Not even cupboards in the place. Low budget. Never ever again. People are more interested in making money than letting guests have an enjoyable weekend, This place gives Club Mykonos a bad name .
