Beware of the “bat lady”

So I get a quote to remove bats from my home. First, I receive a load of danger warnings intimating that I could die if I don’t remove the bats. This gets the fear into your mind. Then a description that hints at 7 days work, removal of the roof tiles, an intensify sealing, cleaning etc process. And then a quote for R48,000 !!

I calculate that a “team”of workers will arrive, work for 5-7 days removing tiles off the roof. Then after cleaning and disinfecting, the whole structure gets sealed. Work this out and R48k kinda sounds right. I accept and sign.

Then, a 65 year old woman with ONE worker arrives. Spends 1.5 days squirting silicone into the eaves, leave and return after a week and 4 hrs later claim that she is done!! So I’m am stuffed as I accepted the quote, and she gets paid R24,000 per day with one worker. Where to from here? The ultimate ****
