My mechanic took the car in for respraying of the entire car and realignment of the bonnet following an accident. The total cost was R16000. I paid a deposit of R9000. After two weeks I received a phone call that the job was done. I transferred R7000 into their account. The mechanic went to collect the car. He was not happy at all because the car had the same defect and he had an argument with the manager. When he brought the car to me I was equally not happy and decided to approach the company. The company denied that the agreement was to respray the entire car as for the alignment of the bonnet they said it needed a new fender which they never informed me about. They demanded another R16000 to do the job. I'm now left with a car that was never fixed after paying R16000.
