<p>Worst experience I ever had.</p> <p> </p> <p>Disorganised, filthy, unhelpful and a complete joke.</p> <p> </p> <p>We were told to pay in advance and we would then choose a sheep from the relevant category on eid day. When we got there on eid day we were given a number and told to wait at the front of the pens to select our sheep.</p> <p> </p> <p>While waiting to select our sheep there was so much confusion amongst there staff as to which sheep were in which category. We were sent from one pen to another until it got to a point where the enployees put everything on hold as they said that the sheep were mixed up.</p> <p> </p> <p>We had to stand around for an hour while one person went into each pen and decided which sheep was in which category. Sheep in the "more expensive" category were moved to another pen.</p> <p> </p> <p>The prices displayed at each pen did not match the prices that the employees indicated they were.</p> <p> </p> <p>The sheep did not have much food to eat and there was no water in the pens. There were clearly a few injured sheep as well.</p> <p> </p> <p>While the whole sorting out was taking place there were some angry clients that said they had chosen sheep prior to eid day but the sheep were given to someone else. They had specifically wanted male sheep and were told that there were no more male sheep left. The response they got was "take your money and go somewhere else". </p> <p> </p> <p>After the sheep were sorted out each person was to choose their sheep based on their tag number. This however did not work well as "friends" of the staff were given preference.</p> <p> </p> <p>After waiting a long time to choose my sheep we went to wait at the area for qurbani to be performed.</p> <p> </p> <p>The staff in that area were as disorganised as the first area. Each persons number was called out and if you were blocked by the group of people in front of you your sheep was put back and you had to wait a long time for your number to be called again.</p> <p> </p> <p>The staff were very unhelpful and had a don't care attitude.</p> <p> </p> <p>After the qurbani was done your sheep is dumped onto a pile of about another 50 sheep and you must go looking at the number tag on them if you would like it skinned and cleaned quikly, good luck with that.</p> <p> </p> <p>Due to the sheep staying like that for such a long time, the taste and smell of the meet is bad.</p> <p> </p> <p>Following this experience I spoke to family and friends about it and there are others that had even worse experinces. One person was even given meat that had started going bad. the explanation they got was that the fridges were too full and therefore they were not cold enough.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please consider very carefully before doing business with Qurbaan Farm Skaapkraal.</p>
