Contractor abandoned project after receiving money

I would like to share my experience with a contractor (André Strydom) I hired, Quick Silver Projects, in the hope that others can make informed decisions. I paid for work to be done on my property approximately 5 months ago. Unfortunately, the work was left incomplete, despite full or agreed payment being made. Due to the unfinished work, recent rain has caused additional damage to my property, which has now left me in a worse situation than before the work started. I have tried to resolve this directly, but have not received a satisfactory response or solution. I am sharing this to raise awareness.
