Belongings left in the rain, 6 appliances water-damaged, and two weeks of silence
I hired Quick Movers Removals for my house move and I would warn anyone thinking of using them. During the move, my belongings were left out in the rain. The following items were water-damaged: Fridge Microwave Dishwasher Washing machine 85" TV 27" monitor These are some of the most expensive items in a home, and every one of them should have been kept dry. I sent a formal complaint on Wednesday, 9 September, and got no reply. On 15 September I followed up with a formal escalation. I asked them to confirm that the complaint had been escalated, to give me the name of the person handling my claim, to propose a resolution, to give me a timeframe, and to preserve all records of my move. That email has also gone unanswered. It has now been two weeks since my first complaint, and I have not had a single response. Accidents can happen on any move. What a customer should be able to expect is that the company takes responsibility and deals with the problem. Quick Movers Removals has done neither. If you're choosing a removal company, please think carefully before using this one. Make sure your goods are properly protected and insured, and get every promise in writing. I'm still open to settling this directly with Quick Movers Removals and will update this review if they respond and resolve it fairly.
