I brought my Samsung A24 into Quick Fix Cellular at Allen’s Nek for a simple charging port repair and was assisted by Abdul. After the repair, my phone was returned with a completely non-working screen — an issue that did not exist when I handed it in. I was then charged additional money to fix it. After multiple returns, the phone kept developing new faults, including speaker distortion, vibration through the device, and poor reassembly with visible glue around the screen. Instead of properly resolving the issue, I was offered a replacement phone (Samsung A14 instead of my A24). The replacement device displays system security warnings when turned on, indicating that certain security features and app protections are not available, and that the device may not be fully supported as an authentic Samsung system. This has also affected the ability to use essential apps such as banking applications. In total, I have paid approximately R1,200–R1,300 and I am left with a damaged original phone and a replacement that is not fit for normal use. My attempts to resolve this matter have been ignored or dismissed. Very disappointing experience and no accountability from the business. I was rudely told in store by Abdul to never come back again as I am causing trouble for him by his boss, the audacity is frightening. This business is a ****, please don't support them.
