Quest gym busy with *****!!

I had a 1year contract with SUPERSPORT gym in 2012 that ended 2013. I also moved away from Bfn end 2012. The last 6months or so i have received a sms 2 or 3 times from Quest stating a monthly amount to be paid, because I have NEVER been to a Quest gym and NEVER had contract with them i just ignored the sms. This week (8 January 2020) I received a sms again, this time I googled the name of the gym and saw it is where the old SUPERSPORT gym used to be. I emailed them that I have NEVER been a member of them and haven't been living in BFN since 2012. Today my stepdad came to the shocking revelation that Quest gym has been making a debit order against his banking account for the last 8years. This is ********** as i/he have NEVER signed any contract with them, NEVER been there and my SUPERSPORT contract anyway ended in 2013 already. 1. How can they do a debit order without permission of account holder? 2. How can they charge me if I have NEVER been there? 3. How do they charge me if I don't have contract with them? 4. How can they charge me if my contract with SUPERSPORT ended 7years ago? Imagine R429 for 12months over 8years...
