Unreasonable Claim Denial – Quest Claim Professionals Demands Impossible Proof!

In an industry built on trust, risk assessment, and timely support, it's alarming when an insurer demands the impossible.

Recently, I submitted a third-party claim involving one of our delivery drivers, who was involved in an on-road accident while conducting business on our behalf. The facts were straightforward, the incident was properly documented, and all the necessary details were supp****.

The response from Quest Claim Professionals was both frustrating and deeply concerning: they refused to consider the claim unless we could provide video footage of the actual accident—a requirement that was neither reasonable nor realistic.

Let me be clear: we do not have dashcams installed in the vehicle involved. The accident occurred suddenly, and like most incidents on the road, it was unpredictable. Yet, in the absence of a surveillance-style recording, our claim has been denied without any meaningful review or investigation.

This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s a barrier to justice and a red flag for every commercial policyholder out there.

If insurance companies like Quest Claim Professionals can hide behind impossible evidence requirements to avoid paying legitimate claims, where does that leave the rest of us who play by the rules, pay our premiums, and expect fair treatment?

To fellow business owners and consumers: review your policies closely. Ask your insurer what they really require when it comes to claims assessment. Don’t wait until you're already in a vulnerable position.

To industry professionals and regulators: is this the standard we want to uphold? Are we letting claims handlers sidestep their obligations through arbitrary, unfair practices?

If you’ve experienced similar treatment or believe this behavior is unacceptable, I urge you to report it to the Ombudsman. It’s only through collective accountability that we can hope to restore balance and integrity in the claims process.

Insurance is meant to be a safety net—not a trap. Let's hold those who misuse it to account.
