Poor quality

I’ve been using the Protefix adhesive cream for years now but lately the products are just not up to standard. Only the 1st two or 3 applications apply smoothly the rest of the tube then becomes thicker and more difficult to apply. I’m making sure the cap is securely tight after use but no success.
