Qubist is a ********** ****.

Avoid this on-line store at all cost! The on-line site looks very professional and reputable, but believe me, it is a ****! I ordered 3 Defy coffee machines from Qubist 3 weeks ago. I received an immediate sms with my order number. I have since received several sms's promising delivery, and have engaged in many telephone conversations with the only person who ever answers the phone, Sydney, who never identifies the company or himself, but answers only with an 'hello'. There is no management or superior with whom to talk, only Sydney. Finally, this morning I received an sms to say my order was cancelled due to a damage report and I would be refunded. I went onto the website to see that there are 7 items in stock, so damage during delivery would not warrant a cancelled order to a company who is running a reputable business. Having seen other reviews of similar experiences that others have had with Qubist, it seems that they take our money and run. No-one has called, as promised to discuss and get my banking details from me for the refund, and the phone line goes to voice message. I believe I have lost my several thousand rand to a ****. Beware!
