Rude staff members

I had the worst experience at that restaurant. I went to dine there with my family one evening in July 2023. The waitress insulted me for eating so much food and told me to exercise and go for walks. She really spoiled my entire evening.I sent an email to management concerning what had transpired, and she offered me a R500 voucher as a goodwill gesture to apologize for what happened. In September 2023, myself and my family went to Clipper restaurant for Sunday lunch and decided to go to Quay 4 restaurant for some drinks. Upon arrival we ordered and the waiter was so rude to walk over to the other table next to us, even though we haven't ordered yet. He explained that he thought that we were together. Which was very ****** as I felt that he assumed that because that people was also coloured. I then asked him how I can redeem the voucher I had. He asked me where I got it from,because only people who works there can get vouchers. I explained that the manager emailed it to me. He asked the manager on duty , and we're told that they won't accept it as it was not printed. The waiter asked me what person don't know that they must print vouchers, don't I then know how to use vouchers. At that point I was embarrassed and annoyed as people started looking at us like chancers.The manager came over and said they can't help me. I asked him who is Natasha and he said his boss. I proceeded to tell him that I got that voucher from her. Then only he obliged to assist. He said that I could email the voucher to him and he would print it. I had signal problems and could not email at the time. He suggested that I send it via WhatsApp if I even know how to send a document from there. I responded yes I can as I'm not uneducated. I felt so disrespected once again by the way the staff are allowed to treat their patrons. After I ordered a second round of drinks I asked for the bill and just left. I emailed the manager Natasha to tell her about this horrible experience once again,and she apologized. She told me that she would investigate the staff members in question. It's been more than a week now since she is investigating. Meanwhile my sister told me that she took our mother and mother in law for lunch there and received bad service aswell. They were seated at a wet table,and they were not attended to swiftly like other patrons who were not of colour. I'm actually very disgusted at this,as it's really a nice place with a nice atmosphere and excellent foos. But their staff are the most rudest and disrespectful I've ever come across anywhere in this country. I don't know if they can be trained better, but all I know is manners can't be taught.
