I entered a contract with Trevor Fisher while overseas in Saudi Arabia. We purchased a house in Annlin, Pretoria and wanted to do a revamp. He was paid R35000 excluding all material. On the 3rd of September 2020, my daughter paid for kitchen cupboard boards at Davidsons. Naturally, we believed that Davidsons would do the cutting and edging. This was not the case. On the very same day, Trevor had the boards delivered to 1182 Meyer Street. Note that his actual address on his company invoice is 1182 Keurboom Street, Moregloed. Trevor took the Davidsons invoice with him, little did we suspect what he was up to until it was too late. Thereafter, we never heard anything about the boards except one lie after the other.

I contacted Trevor via whatsapp and asked about the kitchen cupboards. He was very rude. I then told him that I will be coming to South Africa and will deal with him directly. He went AWOL straight away. If called, he was just plain rude.

I landed on the 18th of October and immediately got to work. Davidsons was kind enough to give me a copy of the invoice and delivery note. It was then determined that the boards Trevor purchased was not what we had chosen. This amounted to over R7000. I checked up on his facebook profile, no picture of him but he had enough photos to gather for evidence. Smiling broadly with the cupboard that was paid for with my credit card. One picture has his site foreman Shaun Beukes commenting that it was a pleasure to work on this project. by the grace of God, I managed to find Shaun's number on facebook. Upon questioning, he said that the boards were used on two sites.

I have already started legal proceedings against Trevor Fisher and will be opening a charge of theft/*****. He has been insolent enough to offer me R1000 per month over 30 months. I have forwarded another settlement to his attorney and await his response. I however will still be going forward with the theft charge as I am not the only person he has done this to.
