QUANTUM PROJECT AND MAINTENANCE

On the 17 th of August I received a quote for installation of kitchen cupboards. Trevor at first said it is not necessary to come to my house and have a look at the current cupboards. I however insisted seeing that it was a specific profile and grain finish I wanted for the new cupboards. He showed up on the with drawings and it seemed like he knew exactly what I want and left. A 70% deposit was required. He contacted me nearly every day to find out if we accepted the quote. He came to my house on the 20th to see what my requirements where. On the 24 I confirmed in writing that I do not want the smooth profile on the cupboards and deposited 70% of the quote amount into his account. On the 7 th of September I contacted him as this was the date of installation, he promise. He however said that he is still busy but undertook to do the installation on the Friday. On the 7th he told me that he will be able to do the installation on the 9 th of September. I took leave. He did not show up again. I then postphoned till the Friday 9h00.he arrived with the cupboards - wrong colour. I told him he colour was in correct and he admitted thet he is planning to install the Doors without any profile on it. He also said that he wont be able to make the bulkheads that we re quested. He started an argument with me. On a few occasions he said will take everything out and I will still have to pay him. I said to him that I will not open the gate - he then told me I am holding him ransom. I phoned my husband who arrived and also tried to resolve the matter. Then again he had numerous stories. He then phoned my husband and said it wil be approx R2000 more for the Doors with the profile. My husband made and offer and paid another R1000 into his account. We then went on holiday and arrange with the housesitter that he will come on the 18 th to finish. He again didnt show up. Oh and in the meantime we had to pay the outstanding amount as this is according to his invoice. My husband phoned him to find out where he is and he said he wont be able to make but will send a Co worker to come and do the work. 2 guys showed up and said they do not know what to do as the workmanship is shocking and inferior. My husband phoned him several times, left several message and he just doesn't respond. His contact details are the following:*** and his Contact number is : ***.
