Qline's web page said they can urgently process an unabridged birth certificate with 2-3. In my email conversations and phone calls they confirmed this as I repeatedly asked for assurance since we were scheduled to travel July 24 and only had three weeks. Luckily, we also filed an application with Home Affairs at the same time. We received the certificate from Home Affairs in less than two weeks and they staff there was very professional and friendly!!!. With QLine it was a different story. Once they received my R1520 payment there was nothing but silence. Now their phones are unanswered and my emails are bouncing back undelivered. If only I had done my research on this **** of a company before handing over my money! Stick with Home Affairs. They might have their problems but they don't **** you of your money and Home Affairs' fee was only R75!
Q-Line's turnaround time regarding UBC is 2-3 weeks, the customer app**** on the 3 July 2015 and the unabridged birth certificate was collected by Q-Line on the 23 July 2015. The customer was contacted immediately and a copy of the UBC was available for collection by the customer. Q-line has numerous contact points that are available for customers to enquire re the status of their application.
