Taking advantage of young new home owners

Had a horrible experience with them. They came to clean a 50m2 EMPTY apartmennt with no carpets or curtains. Charged R1900 (which we accepted hoping to receive the best service we could). They phoned to say the job was completed only to arrive and find they had just skimmed over the apartment and did not do a full and thorough clean (e.g. mopped over floors but left behind sticky marks, dirty doors, not cleaning the skirting on sliding doors). They did clean up after asking them to fix, but this ended up taking longer and I thus had to miss work. Then when inspecting the apartment later again I found dirt pushed into the corners of my kitchen cupboards.

After all of this they did offer to come again, but I had cleaned the rest myself and couldnt take the time out to miss more work. They did offer to maybe clean a mattress, but we are new homeowners and do not yet have a mattress for them to clean.

Despite the poor service received, they still demanded the remaining payment (as you put down a R1300 deposit).

I do not recommend this company to anyone. They do not take smaller clients seriously and they took advantage of the fact that we are young new homeowners. They thought that, because of this, they could get away with a half **** job and that is unacceptable.

Find another company, or do the job better youself.
