Worsed experience of my life as a customer/consumer :-(!

After making required down-payments for security shutters, I still don't have them installed after 3 months!

I paid 50% deposit QC Shutters on 31-May-2023, and another 40% payment on 08-July-2023. Since then, they have given me new installation dates that they never stuck to.

First, my shutters were supposed to be installed on 31-July-2023 but QC Shutters did not show up on the day, without any prior warning or communication.

As I write this review today (18-Sept-2023), I have received many postponements in the last minute. I have had to call a day before to hear the bad news of a postponement. When I call them, they tell me that they will come back to me but, guess what?... I have to call to get updates. BAD COMMUNICATION & CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT!

I have had to call them a day before supposed installation date to hear the bad news of another postponement. I have been to their offices and was given a guaranteed installation date which did not materialized. Today is 18-Sept-2023 and I have been given another date (I had to call them to hear another lie).

In all this, my windows remain naked, no privacy, and no security!

Below are some of the reasons I was given for not making installation date: - The business is moving premises. - Protests in the Cape Town. - No fuel to deliver the shutters (I felt that this was an honest concession which indicated to me that I may be dealing with an unhealthy business). - Loadshedding is affecting production of the shutters (I was previously made to believe that my shutters had been made already, and delivery was the challenge - judge for yourself). - When I went to their offices, Angelique (their boss), made a phone call to have my shutters delivered and assured me of an installation date before my planned family vacation. THIS WAS NOT DONE. I HAD TO CALL TO KNOW THAT THE INSTALLATION WOULD NOT BE DONE.

Now, I do not even get a reason, I only get told that I will be contacted shortly, and that my name is on the board for installation.

I saw a few bad reviews on QC Shutters and I can see that they no longer come up.
