Stay clear! *******!

Carlo Uppington arranged to meet me at Caesarstone in Northgate on 30 August. He recommended I purchase a slab before 1 Sep to qualify for the special they had.

I told him my kitchen will only be ready in 4 weeks, he confirmed that this was not a problem. I contacted him at the end September to schedule the installation, he came to measure up and confirmed installation a week later. He forgot the undermount sink (which is needed when they cut the tops) so he returned to place to collect my sink. He also charged me to cut drip tray grooves in the stone.

For about 3 weeks, everyday he promised to come and install. Some nights making me wait until 10pm. After finally accepting the fact that I was ****med, I started calling around - most suppliers closed his company accounts, when mentioning his name on the phone I was met with "Carlo - shame.. you not getting your tops".

I managed to get hold of him and asked that he at least return my sink, which he didnt.

I have opened a case with WC small claims, I managed to obtain his current residence as well as all his personal info.
