DISGUSTING SERVICE

<p>I arranged a baby shower for 20 people that took place at Q.Ba Stoneridge Centre, Edenvale on Saturday, 1st July 2017.</p> <p>The booking was made 2 months ago with Tracey, when I phoned a week before to ensure all was sorted for Saturday, they had no idea what I was talking about in terms of my booking but agreed to assist me.</p> <p> </p> <p>The turn of events were as follows:</p> <p>1 waiter was assigned to the table of 20 people – the poor guy was spinning and at no point did any of the other waiters help him, neither of the 2 managers assisted either – the restaurant was empty and everyone just stood around and watched this 1 waiter spin out of control;</p> <p>We had to ask the waiter to take the drinks order;</p> <p>We had to ask the waiter for menus;</p> <p>We had to ask the waiter to take the food order;</p> <p>The food took over an hour, and then only half the table received their food, and half an hour later, the rest of the food came out;</p> <p>Specific to my food – when I ordered my food, I asked the waiter if the veggies were the standard butternut and cream spinach, he said no that they have mixed veggies which I was happy with. I ordered a medium steak (280g for R180). I have no issue paying this price but then I expect to receive what I ordered. I struggled to find the cheese and jalapeno stuffing, the waiter also told me that the sauce was on its way. 10 minutes later I asked about my sauce, the waiter said that it is being plated and be out shortly. A further 10 minutes later I asked about my sauce, the waiter told me they don’t have the sauce. I then cut my steak open, it was raw despite me asking for it to be medium. I called the waiter over, told her that I ordered a medium steak, she took one look at it and said: “eeeeuuuuw, it’s alive”. The waiter returned my steak to me about 15 minutes later, it was a quarter of the size, that was not the steak that I originally sent back.</p> <p>I then got up and went over to speak to the manager, I told her that I refuse to pay for my food, they removed it from the bill. The manager was totally dis-interested in what I had to say and stood staring at me with her arms folded.</p> <p>The other manager was so busy standing at the entrance to the restaurant smoking with the waiters right in front of the customers.</p> <p>At the end of the afternoon, we settled the different bills at the table, there were about 5. Everyone had paid and we were leaving when the waiter came over and told us not to leave until we had settled the bills. We going through the bills that the waiter handed to us, we picked up that the bills were reprints/duplicates of bills that had already been settled.</p> <p>Oh and let’s not forget that each time a waiter walked out of the kitchen, they were always chewing, makes you wonder if they are eating off peoples plates.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have never experienced such disgusting, revolting and sickening service in a restaurant in my life – this is a first for me, and I am someone that eats out 2 – 3 times per week.</p> <p>The waiters don’t care about the customers, the managers care even less, the place is filthy, the cutlery is dirty, the floor is sticky, the cushions on the outside furniture is dirty (I would not even sit on it).</p> <p>This place is a complete and utter joke, I cannot understand how it is still open. The fact that there are even people walking through the doors shocks me.</p> <p>WHAT A JOKE, Q.BA STONERIDGE CENTRE, EDENVALE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
