Unprofessional and inappropriate conduct by Mr Quintus Bouwer – QB Real Estate, Stellenbosch. Between 21 and 25 October 2025, I engaged with Mr Bouwer regarding a commercial property. The brochure he sent stated a lease to 2028 with a renewal option, but the property was not listed on Property24 and was priced attractively, raising questions. When I asked about the tenant’s credit quality and any issues with the landlord, he dismissively said the tenant’s financials “are not for sale.” He later offered more details if I signed an NDA, then disclosed enough specifics for me to identify the seller, eroding confidence. After I declined to proceed, he unexpectedly contacted me again, implying I was ready to make an offer. When I reiterated that more clarity was needed before any offer, he responded: “I don’t think you have the money to buy this property… send your bank statements.” This unprofessional and disrespectful conduct was entirely unprovoked.
