What a Nightmare !!

Paid for manufacturing of sliding gate and gas cages with installation from so called professional welder contractor. Gas cages construction and welding was well below average had to return cage with incorrect flooring and as of yet contractor never returned to do final installation but received full payment. Sliding motor gate took forever to complete once completed I found the welding work well below average work was not done according to agreed spec's. Contractor blamed everything but his bad workmanship including the galvanising of the gate as excuses for it not being straight. On the day of installation showed up late then continued to work until midnight in a mad race to complete the concrete for railing. The contractor had a level smaller than 20 cm while attempting to level concrete and gate railing. Contractor purchased all gate motors and accessories as they claimed they are knowledgable, well we found out later they never got the correct base plate for the Centurion D5 Smart motor when the concrete was poured that resulted in all the wiring not fitting onto the correct base plate. Communication cables was laid to the house at my expense in ditches just to discover later that it was not required since the D5 Smart did not require communication cables to be laid to the house. In addition from the gate rollers not fitting the wheels not rolling it was just a horrible ordeal and I would not recommend the contractor for any work as when I saw the work was incorrect and insisted that it be done corrected the contractor did the same as with the gas cages left the job installation incomplete *****ing all the money for an incomplete job.
